Article 1 (Scope)
These Terms of Use (the "Terms") set out the conditions for using matomee (the "App"), an iOS app provided by the matomee team ("we" or "us"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
Article 2 (Overview of the Service)
The App is an iOS app that automatically creates highlight reels from youth soccer game videos you have recorded. All video analysis and creation is completed on your device, and no data is sent to external servers.
Article 3 (Conditions of Use)
- The App runs on devices with iOS 17 or later.
- If a minor uses the App, they must have permission from a parent or guardian.
Article 4 (Content and Data)
- All rights to the videos, images, and other content you load into the App belong to you.
- If processed footage includes third parties (especially minors), you are responsible for how that footage is used and shared.
- We do not guarantee the quality or accuracy of the results.
Article 5 (Prohibited Conduct)
You must not:
- Process or share videos that infringe the rights of others (such as portrait rights or copyrights)
- Reverse engineer, modify, or misuse the App
- Use the App for any illegal activity
Article 6 (Paid Content and Purchases)
- Some features of the App may be offered as paid content.
- Paid content is purchased through the App Store and is subject to Apple Inc.'s terms of use.
- Purchased content can be used on devices signed in with the same Apple Account (within the scope of Apple's restore feature).
- Refunds after purchase are subject to Apple Inc.'s refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.
- Prices may change without notice.
- If we end the App's service, access to purchased content may end.
Article 7 (Intellectual Property)
All intellectual property rights in the App, including its design and AI models, belong to us or their rightful owners. These Terms do not transfer any of these rights to you.
Article 8 (Disclaimer)
- We do not guarantee that the App will continue to be available or work without interruption. The App may be changed or suspended without notice due to maintenance, bug fixes, changes in Apple's policies, or other reasons.
- We are not responsible for any damage resulting from use of the App (such as loss of data or errors in the results).
Article 9 (Privacy)

Article 10 (Changes to These Terms)
We may change these Terms without notice. Changes take effect when they are posted in the App or on our website.
Article 11 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Osaka District Court has exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance.
Article 12 (Language)
These Terms are originally written in Japanese. If there is any discrepancy between the English version and the Japanese version of these Terms, the Japanese version prevails.
